Woman Cries Out Over Alleged ₦3 Million Missing From Access Bank Account

A Nigerian woman has made a public appeal for help after alleging that approximately ₦3 million was withdrawn or transferred from her Access Bank account without her authorization.

In an emotional video circulating online, the woman claimed she had been saving money in the account for several years before she allegedly noticed that funds had started leaving the account in October 2025.

According to her, the transactions eventually emptied the account, leaving less than ₦200.

She said she had repeatedly contacted Access Bank and submitted documents requested during the complaint process, including utility bills. According to her account, she was initially told that her money was safe and that there were no ongoing transactions affecting the funds.

The woman said that when she later visited an Access Bank branch, she was informed that the matter was under investigation. During a subsequent visit, she claimed bank officials provided details of a beneficiary allegedly connected to the disputed transactions and advised her to make further enquiries with OPay and Moniepoint.

She also claimed that a bank official advised her to report the matter to the police and open a case file. However, she said she lacked the financial resources and support to pursue the matter alone.

“I just want Access Bank to give me back my ₦3 million,” she pleaded in the video while displaying what appeared to be account statements.
